Where mail lives
On your servers, or in the cloud.
Cloud mail is a complete install. So is a single data centre. If you already have another site, we put a warm copy there.
How we choose
You say where the mailbox should sit. We do not guess.
Some organisations need to walk up to the machine. Some want us to host it and stop thinking about disks. Both are honest jobs. What is not honest is a design that assumes a second site you do not have, or a cloud region the maker does not operate.
Zoom is software-as-a-service either way. Meetings follow Zoom’s published uptime, plus the internet path at each site. Phone dial-in is the fallback when data is poor.
Three honest shapes
None of them is a half job.
Recovery is agreed and proved before handover. Virtual machines sit on separate hosts so one hypervisor is not a single point of failure.
Live mail on site
Mail store, web, anti-spam, backup, people who send and receive — on your servers. Space, power and cooling are the data centre. They are not the machines.
Warm copy
A second node at a further site you already have, same mailbox size. Warm when the first site is down, after you authorise the cut.
If you already have two sites
Live here. Copy there. The circuit stays yours.
We do not supply the link between sites. If that circuit is thin, we say so before we promise a warm copy. You keep the path; we keep the mail store healthy.
Questions we hear
Is a second site required?
No. One data centre is a complete install. A copy exists only where you already have another site.
Who supplies the servers?
We size and supply mail-class kit for on-site jobs, unless you already have the machines in writing, or the mail lives in the cloud.
Does Zoom sit on those servers too?
No. Zoom is software-as-a-service. Mail can be on site or in the cloud. Meetings follow Zoom, plus your internet path.
What if the primary site is down?
Where a copy exists, mail continues after you authorise. We prove that path before handover — not on the night it happens.
